Another award for ‘Veerumandi’

Kamal Haasan's very successful Tamil film 'Virumaandi' has won the Best Asian Film award for the year at the Puchon International Fantastic Films Festival in South Korea.

The festival, known as PiFan, was held in the Korean satellite town of Puchon outside Seoul and the actor attended the awards ceremony.

Another Indian film, ‘Raghu Romeo’, was also entered.

The "film successfully managed to combine social and political dramas with romance, humor, music and spectacular action”, the awards committee said.
